Effective governance is an essential part of a well-run organisation and the main responsibility of board members. Governance principles apply to an organisation’s strategic direction, overall performance and legal compliance. This responsibility can be overwhelming for new board members and tricky to navigate for those who report directly to a board. How do you ensure your organisation is mitigating it’s risk? How do you find out what legal, regulatory and industry compliance obligations are in play?
This training will teach board members and senior managers who report to boards how to be more effective in their role. This training is only available to those in the not-for-profit sector.
